In order to test unmanned aerial vehicles (mini UAV, multicopter drone and herd UAV) safely and related avionics used in the civil and defense industry sector, within the borders of Kalecik district of Ankara province, 3.7 km wide and 47.5 km long, different regions have an altitude of 5500, 7000 and 8000 feet. An airspace that is continuously dedicated to UAV test flights and subsystem tests has been allocated and put into use.
