The introductory and process observation meeting of the Qualified Product List (QPL) project, conducted under the auspices of the Secretariat of Defence Industries (SSB), was successfully held at Teknopark Ankara, hosted by TRTEST. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tolga Sayın, Head of Industrialization Department at SSB, and attended by our General Manager Mr. Yakup Taşdelen and representatives from Aselsan, Turkish Aerospace Industries, HAVELSAN, ROKETSAN, ASPİLSAN Energy, and STM.
The meeting provided information on the purpose, processes, workflow, and product groups that have been certified so far for the QPL project. The QPL project aims to ensure that domestic and national defense industry products are developed in accordance with specific quality and performance criteria, to define the necessary national and international standards for these products, and to guarantee their compliance with these standards.
Thanks to the project's systematic approach, it aims to increase the quality, reliability, and standardization of domestic producers and products in our defense industry, as well as to reduce dependence on foreign sources.
